Tatjana de Kerros is an independent Research Analyst and Consultant, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Private Sector Development in GCC region, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar.

 Her clients include scholars, entrepreneurial support programs and multinationals. She acts as an external consultant for the consultancy and business advisory firm Sacha Orloff & Co for all CSR and intrapreneurship projects  based in the Middle East. As from June 2011,  will be a contributor to the Dubai-based publication SMEAdvisor.

She is a founding member of MENA400, an initiative led by KAUST and the Arab Foundation for Science and Technology, and was a semi-finalist in the MIT Pan-Arabic Enterprise Forum 09-10. She previously worked across North Africa for an international NGO, managing media and entrepreneurship projects with youth.

Tatjana is the founder of The Entrepreneurialist, a blog that provides commentary and analysis on entrepreneurial development in the GCC. The content is representative of her passion to catalyze an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region, as well as a platform to share her research in this field. She strongly believes that the region is fertile environment to foster innovation, opportunity and growth, and establish a unique and contextual model for SME support.

Tatjana regularly attends regional and international entrepreneurship events, that have included the Celebration of Entrepreneurship in Dubai, and most recently, the Skoll World Forum 2011. She shares her time between London and Dubai, in between globe-trotting throughout the rest of Middle East.

She is a graduate in International Relations from the University of London, and will be pursuing a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management in 2012.
